Operator Information
Last updated: May 25, 2026
This page contains information about the operator of the MyMedica Service, the key infrastructure and payment partners, and the supervisory data-protection authorities. It should be read together with the Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Refund Policy.
1. Operator
“MyMedica” is the name of the Service and the trade brand under which it is offered. The Service is provided to patients for the purpose of organizing their own medical history and preparing a one-pager for a visit to their doctor.
2. Legal Form
The operator of the Service is a sole proprietor (Ukrainian: фізична особа-підприємець, ФОП), registered in Ukraine under the Law of Ukraine “On State Registration of Legal Entities, Sole Proprietors and Civic Formations”.
3. Contact
- Email (primary channel for all matters): support@mymedica.me
The operator responds to authenticated requests from regulators, payment partners, and law-enforcement authorities within 5 business days of receipt. Full legal-form details (full name, registration number, business address) are not published on this page but are made available upon an authenticated written request from the relevant authority or counterparty with a legitimate interest.
This restriction is in place to reduce the risk of phishing, identity fraud, and unsolicited contact. It does not restrict any user’s right to contact the operator on any matter — the email above is sufficient for that.
4. Payment Processing
Paid Subscriptions are processed through Freemius Inc. — a Delaware corporation (USA) located at 4023 Kennett Pike, Wilmington, DE 19807, acting as the Merchant of Record. Freemius is responsible for:
- Payment processing.
- Calculating and remitting VAT, sales tax, and other indirect taxes in the relevant jurisdictions.
- Issuing invoices and receipts.
- Handling payment disputes and chargebacks.
- Disbursing refunds approved by the operator.
Freemius Terms & Conditions of Sale: https://freemius.com/terms/. Freemius Privacy Policy: https://freemius.com/privacy/. The refund policy is governed by MyMedica’s Refund Policy; disbursement is performed by Freemius.
5. Hosting and Infrastructure
- Database and file storage. Self-hosted PostgreSQL and object storage on European Union infrastructure controlled by the operator. Data is not stored outside the EU.
- AI processing. Fact extraction from documents is performed via the Anthropic Claude API (United States). The transfer relies on EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Anthropic’s opt-out from using customer data for model training is enabled for MyMedica traffic.
- Analytics. Umami self-hosted, only on non-medical pages (see Cookie Policy).
No third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking provider has access to users’ medical data. This is a design requirement recorded in the internal VISION-v2 document.
6. Supervisory Data Protection Authorities
If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you have the right to contact:
- The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights (Уповноважений Верховної Ради України з прав людини) — as the national authority supervising compliance with data-protection law in Ukraine.
- The data-protection authority of your EU/EEA country of residence — for EU/EEA residents. The full list of national authorities is maintained by the European Data Protection Board (EDPB).
Before contacting a regulator, you can also reach out to the operator at support@mymedica.me — we will try to resolve the matter directly.
7. Disclaimers and Limitations
The MyMedica Service is provided “as is”, is not a medical device, and is not intended for diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision support. Details are in the Terms of Use, including liability limitations and rules on health-related use.
8. Contact for Legal Notices
For legal notices (regulator demands, intellectual-property infringement notices, Service-abuse notices, law-enforcement requests):
- Email: support@mymedica.me
- Subject line:
